Last weekend was Gold Coast Supanova, and my first foray into the Madman National Cosplay Competition.  I cosplayed Noel Kreiss from Final Fantasy XIII-2 against 3 other very skilled and awesome teams ( & ,  and ).   & took out first place.  I got a huge surprise when I was awarded second place (the "i got second place" face lol  I'll put some proper photos up once I get a photoshoot for Noel done, but here is one my good friend Lorenzo took of me while I was on stage  Coming second means I might be awarded a wildcard entry into the finals in November.  I wont be notified until after the last round (about August), so I'm going to assume I'm going to get one (until I'm told otherwise) and start work on my costume for it anyway, since I don't want to be left with a few months to make a costume if I do get one!  I've already chosen my costume, and have to get my butt back into gear and get working on it.

I also plan to make Fujin from Final Fantasy 8 for the other BrisNova day, and Sinbad from Magi for either a photoshoot or maybe Sydney Supanova, if I decide to go.  Fixing up my McSephiroth armour and redoing KFCloud's wig are also on my list of things to do so I can do a photoshoot for that, along with one for Noel.  Lots of things to do...again.  I've had the last week to catch up on sleep and just play some PS3 games because I can, and now have to get back into it again!

Had a great, but tiring GCNova and was great to catch up with so many people!
